Aside from the Gear with cellular radios, though, it also appears that Samsung is working on a circular Gear to contend with the likes of the Moto 360 and whatever LG is planning to announce. Unfortunately, this rounded Gear isn’t likely to be announced in September, but if Samsung keeps up their typical release pattern for watches, we may end up seeing the circular version six months down the line, or around when the Galaxy S 6 sees an official announcement.
There a few muddy points about these watches, like the price point or whether or not they’ll run Tizen like the Gear 2 or Android Wear like the Gear Live, but we’ll surely hear more as we get closer to the end of 2014.
