Email has come a long way from when
we started using it. Google literally changed the way we use email when it
first launched Gmail. Now the company is
trying to do an encore with its latest service simply called Inbox.
The service comes at a time when
people all over the world are beginning to suffer from email fatigue even as
their reliance on it has gone up manifold. Inbox is essentially a Google Now version of email that will work as an
assistant for your email address. It will sort all your messages so that you do
not get overwhelmed with the messages that keep trickling in through the day.
Using the service requires a certain
learning curve but early adopters are raving about the effectiveness of Inbox
already. Here are some new features to be excited about.
Bundles
Inbox will automatically categorise
all your incoming mail into pre-specified Bundles such as Travel, Purchases,
Finance etc. You can also create your own Bundle. This is similar to what
current users on Gmail already have except that Bundles will act as a
repository for all mails of a similar kind.
