Over 100 Project Ara components to be revealed at MWC 2015

 Individual components from Google's modular smartphone venture, Project Ara, will be laid out for the public to touch, pick up, and fiddle around with at Mobile World Congress 2015.

There will reportedly be over 100 prototype Ara components displayed at MWC. While the components are not expected to be in working order, there will be demonstrations of an Ara device in action.
Interestingly, Google isn't taking its traditional route of teaming up with major manufacturers like Samsung, LG and HTC to carry out this ambitious project. Instead, the initial Ara components that'll be shown in Barcelona will come from a manufacturer called Yezz - a little-known company which until now has made phones mainly for the Latin-American markets.

The partnership with Yezz is likely connected to Google's decision to launch a pilot scheme for Project Ara in Puerto Rico later in 2015. Yezz has a manufacturing plant in Ecuador and its HQ are in Miami, making it relatively local to Ara's Caribbean testing ground.
