Google Nexus 5 (2015) With Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update – Extended Battery Life

Based on the developer preview that was released for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the latter OS will definitely be of value for the Google Nexus 5 2015 device. Expect the latter device to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and expect a towering battery as well. Every single device out there that will receive the Android M update will have an expanded battery life.

Computerbase claims that the battery integrated in the Nexus 5 will rise 3 times if it has the developer preview Android Marshmallow running on it. Based on several tests, when Nexus 5 was running Android Lollipop, the battery was 24% down (this is when the phone was on standby for 48 hours and 21% down for when its was on standby for 24 hours) whereas with the Android M, the battery was down 4.5% in 24 hours of standby and 9% in 48 hours. A big difference isn’t it?
It’s important to know about the Doze functionality that has been integrated in the Android M. The latter element allows your device to be placed into a deep sleep mode. This means the device will not get any updates and all of those apps and features that drain the battery, will be deactivated.
Users can also recur to App Standby to save battery life. This app is enabled every time you unplug your device. The element will disable the applications that are not active straight from the network support. Once you plug in the device, all of the applications that were “touched” by Apps Standby will start working again.
Moreover, the Nexus 5 2015 will house a non-detachable 3180 mAh battery. So, battery issues should be the least of your worries. Other sources state that the Nexus 5 2015 will also have the 2MP snapper (the second camera) and the 13 MP back end one, the finger print sensor, 3 GB of RAM, Android Pay functionality and last but not least it will sport a 5.2-inch screen. This device will hit the shelves in the month of October and expect it to be priced slightly under the $500 mark.
