Now, you can drag and drop URLs into your Dropbox

Dropbox now gets a new feature that allows users to save URLs to cloud by simple drag and drop.
Looks like, Dropbox is looking to become a bookmark manager by letting users save links in Dropbox on the web, desktop or mobile, and then view those pages anywhere you use Dropbox.

“Now, you can drag and drop URLs into your Dropbox — on the web and on your desktop — and open them on any of your devices. This means you can take your bookmarks anywhere, instead of having them confined to a certain browser on a certain computer. But it also means you can organize all your information, no matter the format, into Dropbox folders — so your information is in one central place,”the company explains in a blogpost.
Users need to simply click on a link and then drag/drop it into their accounts. The link is then saved as a URL that can be opened in a new tab anytime.  “The feature’s even more useful if you’re working on a team project, since members will be able to save and access each other’s sources regardless of their default browsers,”points out Engadget.
To access the new feature users will have to sign into Dropbox.com or download the latest version for iOS or Android from their respective stores.
