Huawei has launched its all-new smartphone dubbed Enjoy 5. Priced at CNY 999, which translates to approximately Rs 10,250, the smartphone will go on sale in China on Friday. The smartphone could enter other markets with a different name, but the company hasn’t disclosed any details yet.
The Huawei Enjoy 5 follows the phablet trend with a 5-inch HD IPS display, featuring 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution. It runs rather older Android 5.1 Lollipop-based proprietary Emotion UI 3.1. The highlight of the device is the 4000mAh battery promising 20 hours of talk time and up to 24 hours of standby time.
The Enjoy 5 comes powered powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 2GB RAM. The 16GB onboard storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD . The dual SIM device also supports 4G LTE. On the camera front, one can expect a 13-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor and LED flash. It also comes equipped with a 5MP front-facing camera and connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and micro-USB.
It was just recently that the Huawei Honor 7 was launched in India at Rs 22,999 onwards. It is expected to start selling on Flipkart from 15 October.
