At the recent Apple event, the iPad Pro sure did get all the attention. However, Apple’s new stylus that accompanies the iPad Pro, the Apple Pencil might just be worth taking a closer look at.
According to Apple, the built-in battery on the Apple Pencil lasts up to 12 hours on a single charge. However, the interesting part is that if you plug in the Pencil for just 15 seconds, which could easily bought within any client brief or ideation meeting, you get 30 minutes of batter life.
In fact, you migtht as well be pondering over the artwork you set out to create, and plug in the Pencil into charge and that’ll get you going for quite a while.
Once you take off the magnetic cap of the Pencil, it’d reveal a male Lightning connector. You could plug the connector into the iPad Pro to charge it.

Apple has finally made a stylus to complement the iPad Pro. The iPad Pro will cost $799 (approx Rs 53,500) for 32GB (Wi-fi only), $949 (approx Rs 63,500) for 128GB (Wi-fi only) and $1079 (approx Rs 68,500) for 128GB (Wi-fi + Cellular). When combined with the keyboard and the Apple Pencil, the iPad Pro can cost more than the MacBook Air in some cases. At these price points it is safe to assume that it is meant clearly for the enterprise customers or business professionals.
Just like its predecessor, the iPad Pro ensures that it is slim. Measuring just 6.9mm thick, it weighs 713 grams. On the inside, the iPad Pro sports the Apple A9X chipset which Phil Schiller said offered better performance than 80 percent of portable laptops out there. According to Apple, the A9X offers desktop-grade CPU and console-grade GPU. It promises a 10-hour battery life as well.
