Popular communications application Skype went down across the world today due to ‘an issue with the status settings,’ according to the company.
The company went on to state that affected users will not be able to change their status, their contacts will all show as offline and they will be unable to start Skype calls to them.
According to DownDetector, problems were first reported at 4:23 a.m. EDT on Sept. 21 and multiple users vented out via social media that the service is unavailable.
