Micromax’s new smartphone, the Canvas Juice 3 has gone on sale via Indiatimes for a price of Rs 8,769. At the moment, the smartphone has not even been listed on the the company’s website.
In terms of specifications, the listing indicates that the smartphone sports a 5-inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek 6580 processor paired with 2GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
It comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP camera. In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM smartphone includes 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery and is said to offer a talk time of up to 14 hours and up to 514 hours of standby time.
In March this year, the company had launched the Micromax Canvas Juice 2. The Canvas Juice 2 is a dual-SIM smartphone with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, it comes powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and an unspecified chipset, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It also gets 8GB of onboard storage, further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, it gets 8MP rear snapper with autofocus and LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and 3G.
